2018 TTL General Rules

Games will have four running 12-minute quarters, a two minute break at quarter end and a three minute halftime.  Game times may be adjusted based on certain factors (e.g., weather).

All games will be “Running Time” and penalties will also be running time, and will begin with the next whistle resuming play. The running time penalty clock will stop for game stoppages (e.g., injury timeouts), and at the end of periods.

Players serve time and teams play man down.  Penalty times will be 1.5 times normal length (e.g., 1 minute penalty becomes a 1 minute and 30 seconds).

“Festival” rules will be enforced.  Body checking is not permitted.  There is no justification for a deliberate and excessively violent collision by any player at any level.

Any player ejected from a game will not be permitted to play in his next game.  Any player ejected from two games will be removed from the league.

No team timeouts permitted.

Ties will end with a Braveheart.

All games at all age levels will be played 10 v 10 on a full field and will be played under 14U rules unless otherwise noted below.
